I took my car in knowing it had a lot of issue some. Some of the issue I did knew about, some I didn't know what was wrong. I took it there after another auto place tried to scam me. They fixed what needed to be done that minute and I was honest with them and said I had to wait a month for the rest and said that was okay. They worked with me to brake it up. They are completely honest with me. My car both times was there for a week. May take longer than some other shops to get the job done but it is worth it. I am also a women and I didn't feel like I was taken advantage off at all. They did explain things that I didn't understand. I am so happy with all the repairs done. Highly recommend them!! I've been going to Advantage Automotive for a very long time, even before they moved to their current location. Over the years, they've serviced nearly a dozen vehicles for me and my family. They have always been friendly, know me by name, and always greet me by name. Their work has always been exactly what I expected and then some. For big jobs, there's no place else I'd take most of my vehicles. I have a diesel truck and even though they don't work on diesel engines, they can still service other components under the hood as well as electrical issues, so for any of those issues, they are still my "go to" shop. Tyler, Randy, and all the mechanics have always been very upfront about pricing and what needs to be done...as well as what DOES NOT need to be done. They have even accommodated me on a rush job where I needed to have repairs in a hurry and were able to get my vehicle in and serviced quickly and thoroughly. Took my 1995 GMC K1500 for a crank/no start issue that I had been troubleshooting for months. Austin did a great job keeping me in the loop and the mechanics did a great job getting the truck running again through quite a complicated troubleshooting ordeal. Austin always spoke to me like a professional, but also in mechanical terms and made my troubleshooting feel valuable to their team. I never felt like Austin was trying to upsell me on any unnecessary parts or labor. They got started one day earlier than initially quoted, and they washed the truck when they were all finished. A family member had tried to put on my spare for me and crushed the rear AC line while lowering the spare. I got a quote from another shop that was around $950. My regular mechanic suggested Advantage since they specialize in making tubes and hoses for AC systems. Good thing I went there because turns out getting the part was going to take a really long time. They made me one and got it fixed quickly and charged me about half what the other shop quoted. Great shop with great people. Ten stars.

Impressive service! I usually address my own repair issues since I was a technician for many years. That said, sometimes I just need a shop. (I can't carry all the equipment with me.) I could tell you horror stories from other places I have used, from theft to just downright incompetence at what they claim to be able to repair CORRECTLY. No fusses here!... Austin was polite, direct, and had a great understanding of what I wanted done. In the shop Brandon knocked it out quickly and did an awesome job (yes I checked the work). The work seems to have been done carefully and was well documented. There was one almost mistake about the amount of oil to use in one vehicle but that was corrected. It seems like the alignments were done as well and was able to be done on one of my newer cars that was too new for some other repair places to do - they did not have the software loaded in there alignment system.

I went to the Ford Dealership first and my truck sat for a day and I needed it. I was on hold for a total of 12 minutes calling in 3 times trying to find out my status of my truck. Had a check engine light issue. Problem was narrowed to a misfire in the #3 cylinder. After a few tries at some less expensive options, we finally told the crew to just let us know what it would take to fix it. After removing the heads they discovered that a roller on one of the lifters for the #3 cylinder had pitted and galled badly, and looked like it was work-hardening. This also damaged the corresponding lobe on the cam. The valves were also showing signs of being burnt. Anyway, they replaced both cylinder heads, the cam, and all of the lifters. Also did an oil change and replaced a bad TPMS sensor (they did the sensor for free as a good will gesture). They thought it would take at least a week because two folks were on vacation, but Dale found an opening and got right on it. Two days! Almost like a new car now! I wouldn't call it a cheap fix, but it was what was needed, and the price was fair. We're quite happy. Good people to deal with.

I had the exhaust manifold on my ram 1500 replaced due to an exhaust leak. the bolts on the outside of these break every 60 to 80k due to the stress of the heat cycles that cause the manifold to warp. When the bolt shears off flush or inside the aluminum cylinder head it is difficult to extract. A previous shop had damaged the cylinder head on the passenger side during the extraction. Advantage auto was able to do the job on the driver side and have the vehicle back to me before the end of the day. I would recommend for anyone driving a hemi vehicle to have a trust worthy mechanic like Tyler at advantage auto tackle this job because a simple problem can turn into a nightmare if not done carefully.

My check engine light was on, and when I got my airbag replaced (a day after the light came on), the dealership doing the airbag replacement tried to sell me $2,000 of repairs.
